Hi, I'm Eric Worden. I'm the morning guy on 93-7 Bob-FM. I am a 30-year
radio vet, and I'm well into my second decade here in Hampton Roads.
Though I was born in L.A., raised in southern Oregon and last worked on
the west coast in Seattle, I love it here in Virginia.
My wife Jennifer and I have three awesome kids...Andrew, Peyton and Colby. We also have a
very large dog...Beaumont the Bernese Mountain Dog. We live in Norfolk
and love to spend time at Wintergreen when the weekend allows.
I am an artist of many kinds, as I play guitar and love to write lyrics. Many of
my songs are written for an educational charity I co-founded in the
early 90's called Magic-The State of the Arts (www.getmagic.net). I also
love creating mixed-media wall sculptures with 50's and 60's board
games. For this, I have garnered the name Game Worden.
You may hear me beyond my morning show...in fact beyond our country's borders, as I do a
lot of voice-over work for commercials and video productions both here
and abroad. You may have heard me on TV commercials for Febreeze, Value
City Furniture, Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors or Safe-Lite Auto Glass. You
might hear me while shopping at Bass Pro Shop or Lowe's. You might even
catch me narrating a special on the Discovery Channel, History Channel
or the Travel Channel.It's a busy life...but somebody has to live it!
